The Courtyard House is a unique prefabricated small off-grid house set on a 60-acre block only a short drive out of Hawks Nest towards the Myall Lakes. Hide out here in comfort with plenty of privacy and space. The home has two bedrooms, one bathroom and close enough to Hawks Nest to enjoy everything the area has to offer, including the sandy beaches, ocean waters, river and lakes.
The house features a large covered verandah with fan, lights and outdoor furniture - the perfect spot to breath in that healthy air amongst natural surroundings. The courtyard garden is a special highlight with the living area and quiet room opening out to it, thus bringing the outdoors in. The barbeque can also be found here.
The Courtyard House is completely off-grid utilising solar power and rainwater. Due to the nature of off-grid please be mindful of your water and power usage. Also note that mobile phone service is not always available and there is no WiFi.
You will be a five minute (3.5 kilometre) drive to the patrolled Bennett's Beach, Jimmy's Beach on Port Stephens, the Golf Course and shopping precinct.
If you need a tree-change or just love a country atmosphere while close to beaches then this is the holiday destination for you. Feel the spirit of the bush while listening to the pounding of the ocean.

This property may not be suitable for infants under the age of 2 years. Guests will need to bring their own grocery items, cleaning products and personal items. We have an IGA Supermarket in Hawks Nest and Coles Supermarket in Tea Gardens if you do not wish to travel with items.
